We are part of an international congregation of approximately 640 Roman Catholic women (Sisters) founded in Germany in 1851. The founding Motherhouse and General Administration offices are located in Dernbach, Germany.

 

The American Province is headquartered in Donaldson, Indiana. In addition, Poor Handmaids also minister in the following countries: Brazil, England, Germany, India, Kenya, Mexico, Netherlands, & Nigeria.
